› An anaesthesia will be used, your lips and tongue might feel numb for a few hours after your appointment. Avoid chewing and having hot drinks until the numbness has subsided so as not to accidentally burn or bite your tongue or lips.
› It is normal to feel some discomfort for a few days after your root canal treatment. Take Ibuprofen 400mg or Cataflam 50mg to control pain.
› If antibiotics are recommended by us, please follow the course to its end, even if you feel no pain or swelling.
› On the final root canal session it is recommended that a crown be fit onto the treated tooth to protect it from decay and fracture.
